Those little Kentucky and the largemouth, lb. and a half and down, are hard to beat on a plate. We have a runout here that
runs from the river to a chain of lakes. It looks a lot like your picture. In the fall when the river get low enough, the bayou
will only have water in pools. They will be full of edible, small Kentucky bass. Your post brings back good memories. Thanks

SuperTeach, I grew up in the Gansville community and still hunt and fish my boyhood haunts.
Great post and pics, I love crappie, bass, bream and catfish. That's why I love to crappie fish for the mixed bag.

I use to squirrel hunt on the Iberville - Bienville WMA and walked the banks of the Big Dungi many times. Good box of fish.
