That's a tough bill to fill. What do you consider cheap? In the $20-$25 range, Cypress Creek rods are cheap and work fine for pulling jigs. They would work fine for pushing jigs. They are way better than Pinnacle Limit rods, IMO. They are fiberglass, so they are a little heavy. I'm not sure they make a 14' rod.
I have been using 2-16' Jenko Spider Troll rods since this spring and love them. I just bought 2-14's and 2-12's to go with them. They are graphite and much lighter. I will use them primarily for pushing and pulling jigs.
Cheap rods ain't good and good rods ain't cheap. Get you some Southern Crappie rods from Ed Duke, you won't regret it.
In the $40 range I have 2 12’ lews but wanted to go to 14’ to push.

I have four 14" Extra Heavy Duty 2 Ounce Southern Crappie rods. They are made for pushing up front. Ed Duke has them listed at $46.95 each. Can't beat them. Even use them for flounder fishing out front of my boat with heavy jigheads.
I got 8 14' foot Denalis I'd let go for 40 each, shipped, great rods just going to 16s
Southern Crappie rods are the best pulling, pushing or tite linning
You can't beat Southern Crappie rods. The absolute best feel of a rod as I've ever used. Especially the 14 and 16 ft. Not flimsy not bulky just perfect. Plus Ed is the best to deal with.
I started with these. Im satisfied for the money. Bought 4-10fts from BPS. 15.99 each plus 9.99 reel from walmart respooled with mr.crapiee 6lb hi-vis. Have used pushing jigs and pulling cranks. Many may not approve of them but for me (a newby to the long pole fishing) they are amesome! I believe they come in 10-12-13-16. 15.99-23.99Attachment 312920Attachment 312921Attachment 312923

if you buy southerns you will not regret it, if you buy another youll always wish youd bought from ed first
Very much so, I have fished many rods, not sponsored by anyone and I choose to fish with the Denalis. They really shine in rough water and we lift 15 inch fish in without thinking about a net.
Please do not get me wrong about the Southerns, awesome rods but spider rigging in the waves they fail, just that simple. Cost me a tourney year before last and I changed. Southerns are the toughest on the market.
I have both and fish both the southern's and Denalli's. Both great rods. When Rees first got his Denalli's he invited me to go fishing with him. I had made up my mind was not going to pay what they wanted for those poles and was happy with my southern's. Well we set out on Enid, he only had 4 Denalli's at the time so we split them 2 each Denalli's and 2 each another brand that were pretty good rods. Needles to say at the end of that day I ordered a set of 14 Denalli's. Still happy with them. They are light and plenty of backbone. I like my southern's for certain situations for the way I fish at times but in rough water the Denalli does out shine the southern. Not trying to sell you on anything but my opinion only. Also that's a good price compared to new.
My rods sold this morning.
Time for a new set

i have won a few dollars tightlining with southern crappie rods in wind and waves, in my opinion the rods have that “ give” that is needed when the boats is bouncing that helps keep your bait stiller, but thats why there are blondes and bruenettes and even redheads, and yes i've tried them all too, i think it has alot to do with what your used too, in high wind and waves id run heavy wieghts to steady the bait even more and reduce bounce, but in fairness ive never fished a Denali, never had a reason too
