It's been hot up here in Montana. too. All the way up to 82 today. Caught a big mess of brook trout yesterday on one of CrappieWrangler's spoons. Other guys weren't catching a thing. It was very cool fishing a mountain lake out of my float tube. If I knew how to upload from my phone, I'd post pictures of the lake and some of the fish.
You need to get the pic posting figured out BigSky! I would like to see come cool pics, pun intended.

Haha do love me some Colorado though. Montana was supposed to be our end destination on our vacation 2 years ago but ended up cutting it short when steph broke her collar bone in Colorado.
I didnt get any new electronics, but I'll bring it back to Oologah. Went Wed. caught 6 decent fish in 5 hours exploring the north end. Fish were 6 to 10 feet deep on structure. Smaller BG shad color jigs got more bites than bright big jigs. Water vis was about 14 inches. Water has cooled down some. Before I left a couple of weeks ago, morning temps before sunrise were 90-92 at Eufaula. Wed at Oologah they were 87 at 3 pm and 89 at the end of the day.
Haha I was referring to reaper. I believe he might have gotten some new garmin toys but could be wrong.
I did stick a Garming 73SV on the front of boat with the PS22 Panoptix transducer. It's the first time I've had a sidescan up front. I like the clarity of the chirp vs my HDS9 (gen 2) at the console. Even though the Garmin is powered separate from the TM. I do get electrical interference when the TM is running. I can still read the screen, but it's not as clear. The Panoptix is nice and helps maintain location of what I'm trying to fish and has shown me stumps and other structure in the area I'm fishing. I've seen my bait on it and fish come to inspect it but still haven't seen the fish take the bait. The side scan has helped me the most as far as locating structure from the front. I left my old Lowrance up front as well to keep a Map and 2D going which I used to use (still do) to confir structure under the front of boat.Quote:

On getting your pictures oriented properly.....Crappy Pappy says to turn your camera 90 degrees right looking through viewfinder...The app wants to put your picture in landscape view and turns it 90 degrees left of how you take it...I am not an authority but Crappy Pappy is.....I'm fairly certain those were his directions.....Hope it helps you....It was nice to get to see your pictures.Thank You KindlyQuote:
