Well today was my second attempt with my son to pull crank baits and it went well. He had a blast. Had 5 on at one time, we ended with 30. 11 inch was our big fish, most between 9 and 10. It was windy as all get out but we made it happen. Also had 2 bonus cats and a gill that I don't know what he was thinking.

Hope it is still a good bite in August. Congrats and thanks for posting.

We went out again Sunday for a couple hours ended with 14 had to work a little harder for them. But still learning that's for sure. Couple more nice cats to add to.

We are going to crank fest in Mississippi this year. I'm sure we will catch up with you guys soon. We had fun cooking at the jack and Jill tournament this weekend.
