Prayer request

Hey fellows, Got some bad news a couple of weeks back. My DIL was diagnosed with breast cancer and will undergo surgery on July 18th. This is doubly difficult for us for, as some of you know, my son lost his first wife to cancer in 2008, leaving him with 2 young kids. He remarried and along with the two kids from his first marriage, he and his 2nd wife have a now 6 year old son.
So he is dealing with this for the 2nd time in his life. They caught this very early and chances are in our favor for a successful outcome. His first wife was diagnose with stage 4 kidney cancer and never had a chance at survival.
We are praying this time will be different. Your prayers are much appreciated.

Sea Ray How did the Daughter in law do today in surgery

Long day yesterday, but Ami came out of recovery around 4 PM. The surgery went well and biopsies did not show any spreading to other parts of her body. She is in some pain but they are managing it well.
She should be able to come home by the weekend if no problems come up.
Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.

Well we are back in the waiting mode again. Her first post op visit they discussed some "Macro somethings" that they see in her lymph nodes. The surgeons are conferring with the Oncology board to determine if Chemo is is needed or just observation for the present. Should here something next week. Wife has been up with them helping with chores and now she is home and we have our 6 year old grandson for a visit. Tough for me to keep up with him, way too much energy.
Continued prayers welcomed as we go forward.

I'll be praying for you and your family. Also will put her on our prayer list at church
