Years ago when the weather got hot I would get in my float tub and flipper back and forth along the face of the dam dragging a Marabou jig. Caught a lot of Crappie and stayed cool.

I have a bimini top on my boat and a redneck cooler a/c blowing so its not too bad for me.

I just put up the umbrella and keep fishing
It’s only hot if the fish ain’t biting. Cold has the same rules.

Wear a bathing suit and t shirt,top on boat, hook a hose to your circulate pump and wet your self down every hour or so
I've got a splitter on my live well pump. Turn off the live well side and have a hose attached to the other side. Great for washing slime out of the floor and I have a sprinkler hooked up to the hose. Look like an idiot with a sprinkler in the boat, but I'm cool. REAL COOL

It's just a regular garden sprinkler. Like you get at wally world. It will not run a oscillating sprinkler though. When the boat fills up with an inch of water turn on bilge. Other benefit the floor of my boat is not burning the bottoms of my feetQuote:
