Pulled crankbaits from about 6:30 to 11:30. Took a while to get into some good fish, but managed eight keepers.

Glad to see that there are/were some fish in Sardis that are bigger than 11 15/16. Good catch

I fished Sardis Saturday as well. Caught 75 fish with maybe 8-10 keepers. Didn't measure any but none were over 13.
Mr. Green jeans told a friend of mine that he checked a man and wife on Sardis Saturday and the y told him that they caught 305 and kept 30. They started at 6:30 that morning and stopped at 6:30 that afternoon. That was a long day there.
Congrats. Those are quality fish there
nice feesh!!
Wife and I also fished Saturday from 11 till 4. caught over 120 and had 13 keepers. Darn it was hot.
All these short fish should be over 12” this fall is what fishing reports have said but who knows?
I think they die at 11 15/16 th.
I'm just hoping it wasn't the couple I seen on a pontoon. Had an older gentleman and his wife pulling 4 poles off the back and pushing 4 off the front. He passed us sitting comfortably at the helm in the shade barking orders, had the Mrs. bouncing from the front to the back of that toon. If they caught 300 fish she reeled them all in, netted them and reset the lines. Bet it will be another week for she musters up enough strength to nag him about anything, actually seems like a pretty smart fella now looking back at it :biggrin
But can she back a trailer up? If so, I think she may be a keeper
