Got a crew together and went out to Lake Wylie knowing it would be tuff to catch a crappie. Water was fishable and high as all get out of course. Got set up and waited until dark to turn on the lights wasn't to long after dark perch moved in and rods were pulling down. I didn't think we would catch any crappies but slowly a few moved in and made the mistake and got hooked. Set up in old reliable spot xxx without a bouy. Manage to get 17 crappies, two nice cats and a crap load of small perch in which were thrown back when caught. All in all it was a good night. Dew was heavy with a slight breeze and it made for a good chill across the shoulders and neck for the old guy.:Rofl Got a couple of pictures as I was to busy with perch.
