*Press Menu twice to get into the Main Menu System ...
*Cursor over to the Setup tab ...
*Cursor down to Position Format ...
*Change this from default dd°mm.mmm' (Degrees, Decimal, Minutes) to dd.ddddd° (Decimal, Degrees) ...
Now you should be able to enter those coordinates in the waypoint edit Menu (leaving off the last 2 digits) ...
After entering (and Saving) your manual waypoint entry - set the Position Format selection back to default dd°mm.mmm' (Degrees, Decimal, Minutes) ...
The unit will automatically convert the format ...

Thx mr Rickie. Just now got to sit and under the setup tab there is no “position format” anywhere to be found.
Any extra help would be appreciated.

Change "User Mode" under that same setup tab to "Advanced" ... (Normal User Mode hides some advanced menus) ...
Then Position Format will be farther down in that same list ...
