Congrats on another good trip! I would single pole exclusively if someone would show me how to be successful every trip without casting your arm off for a few fishes. Nothing like the thump ! But that sure is my weakest method and I love it!

I love single pole fishing feeling that thump , don't catch as many as the spider rigger and side pulling guys . But I still love it.

That's not always true. We were spider rigging with 10 poles out, double rigs on each pole fishing the same area as CliffordN, and he outfished us 5 to 1 with 2 poles in the water. That Thump feller musta taught him well.....
