I was fairly Happy with my 1st Lil minnow mold but felt I could do better ( Made that one with clay master's)
So I took matching baits and some Bob sent me and went to town! (They don't look like they match in the pix, but the bodies did...and was adding to the tails) Went with a much smaller pill bottle to maybe make more predictable core shots here's some pix

You’re doing a good job the ones in the picture that I give you for making a mold last night I caught 25 bass on them and 4 Crappie. Also they been a top seller in a local sporting good store here .

Just ordered a dual injector of some large...More like huge baits and am making mold more to be injector injected over "Pill Bottle" injected
Biggest molds I've made so far.....Had to use Fiba fuse in them so they wouldn't break while splitting the 2 halves

Like any injector "Safety" can't be stressed enough
on the burns they may cause, some of us have experienced
For the Pill Bottle Injectors will work well but
may require a little more added attention due to their design

As with anything Safety 1st! My very 1st Pill Bottle mold was a bit sketchy, But I took the shortcomings of that mold and integrated
updates on all the new ones
In reality I've had several close calls with the dual injector! Getting used to a totally different approach! For instance with the "PBI" there is no oozing Just 2 cups of plastic to pour into the receiver is one example another is, Man that thing gets HOT even through my mill gloves, I'll have to build some kind of holder for it...So when I have to set it down to change gloves, it's not laying on the bench...Thinking about reworking my entire work space
I'm sure I'll get used to the dually, and really Love it! I am super happy with effects It can do, that is for sure

Got out today to do some testing...
Local lake with a 5 Crappie and Sunfish limit! With the storms and flooding last week and this week too fish were all over so we did some old school run and gun "SIGHT FISHIN"
Got on some SERIOUS SUNNIES...Benn a while since I tossed Panfish back Cuz they were too big!!!
Rule is Sunny's over 9" go back in for breeding stock...Today I threw 4 back in a 20 minute span!!!!
Using my Bluish silver smoke version of Bobs stingers he sent me, Tipped with just a little Crawler to give it smell

The 5 limit was imposed on a few local lakes in 2005
The 9" Rule is MINE ...I want those fish to make SMART, BIG Babies
The state imposed a 22"-36" slot.....Anything over 22" goes back in
UNDER 22" THEY upped the limit from 3 to 10 in possession
OR you can keep one over 36"
IT'S SOOOOOO MESSED UP!!! KILL OFF ALL THE BABIES, SO THE LAKES CAN ALL HAVE "TROPHY FISH" So now instead of keeping fish from 36"to 38" guys who are keeping eaters are going from 1 fish 3-4 meals to 3-4 fish to get a meal

To break it down...Instead of me taking 1 fish in the size I like to eat 34-37" and letting 3-4 little fish grow up
They want me to take 10 fish I consider BAIT!!! so a Fish that is already big enough to eat ANY GAMEFISH in the lake can get BIGGER
And feast on large Crappies, Sun Fish, Walleyes, Bass, Ducks, and THE STATE BIRD LOON BABIES
I even curbed my Language so the mods didn't have to edit:cheers2
Heck Bob, That would be an UGLY fish and DANGEROUS.... Northern's are solitary hunters, I don't even want to think of the kind of havoc 20-30 schooled up 30" toothy top of the food chain predator's could do....

Spent some time with my Lil Minners mold yesterday, Been wanting to up my game some and try to do some stuff like Bob does

I leave some flash and the tail venting on them cuz I like the way it moves in the water

These thing took forever to cut and get stuffed back in the mold!
he has changed the mold design so that you could pull them off without cutting them anymore that's on the new molds that he's coming out with.Quote:

The worst part for me was keeping them in the correct cavity on my plaster mold!
What worked best was to separate the 2 halves and leave them attached to the pill bottle receiver
Snip the baits off and cut the tails, then put directly back into the cavity 1 at a time
That must be very time-consuming for you the only part that I don't like about the injection mold with the little plastic bait with the ball on the end of the trail is when I pull them from the injection mold I have to cut each one of them was a pair of scissors or with a razor blade from the mainstem. but they do shoot good in the injection mold we are working on a new mold from a different mold maker can't go into too much detail right now but I'm sure that you will love what I have in mind.Quote:
