Fun, Sun, and Bad Trip
Got up Sunday morning planning on going to Clinton and eat breakfast, get gas and go back to camp to take down the tent,,, Nice tent.... anyway truck kinda messed up coming up to bucksaw Friday, but made it fine, Not so lucky in Clinton, started having lots of trouble with the shifting gears, it would run through couple then no overdrive. or worse, so decided to head south and hope it made it ,,,I did, but it is going to cost me a new transmission or rebuild my old one, 2500.00 or so to get it all done. Crap. glad I had fun at camp, sure met a lot of good folks and got to see some ole ones. Y'all take it easy I gonna sit under the oak tree and pout.

Not a fish story....2003 archery elk hunting Colorado, had pulled 20 foot alum.goose neck trailer w/ couple horses ...got to camp at 10,000 feet and truck would not back up....found tranny fluid trail had followed me up the mountain.....With help got to Steamboat Springs next day to a dealership...4 days later they had it rebuilt....She had 212 k then-now 419k and no tranny issues since...The rebuild, new cooler, and lines was $3700......Hated to pay it but it has been good to me since....Your decision will be either pay for a rebuild or go truck shopping....Your truck is your tow rig for your boat that enables you to wet a line.....You make it pretty obvious that is an important part of being you.....Good luck getting her fixed or replaced Beagle
