Stumphole
Had a cold snap and lot of freshwater come in but we managed a cooler full in about 4 hours. Didn't start til around 10 because it was cold first thing.
Conditions should improve each day.

Way to go Ray! Them are some nice ones. Them crackers are some kind of fun to catch. If truly big fish fought like a bream, you'd never land one!

Still good bite on worms. Have to fish on bottom. We got folks all around us got their corks pegged at 3-4 feet and no bites. Our cord are not pegged, all they do is give us an indication of a bite before they swallow the hook.
Bite will be hot for 30 minutes then die for an hour. Attachment 300574Attachment 300575

Hey guys i'm looking for someone who would take me out on a guide trip for shellcrackers on Moultrie. Pm me or message me [email protected].

Ink is right they have already started to move out. However the crappie can still be caught in the shallows on that end of the lake. On the end where I fish most are already on shallow brush 10 to 15 feet of water. About 6 feet down. Great catch ray

Well, as the pros were saying, the fish are moving out as the spawn winds down. Each day was a bit slower than the previous.

Good news was, all the fish were quality fish, this one winning top honors at 1.6 lbs.
The store at Stumphole has been remodeled and really looks good. We had a great breakfast each morning, this one being today before we came home.
(All the pictures were oriented the same way in my file, don't know why Charlie is sideways in that one)
