I was out Saturday afternoon fishing at Roses bluff and a boat passed by me with lines out the back. I asked them if they were looking lining and they said no, pulling cranks. They were fishing the tourney and said they'd caught a few.
I just bought a pontoon and am getting it ready for cranks. Man, it takes a ton of $$$ to rig one completely.

Caught these pulling cranks today. 1.8 mph, 80 ft of line
chrome clown, malfunction, chartreuse
Nice Lowbidr, what's y'alls water temp down there?
72.6 today.
Yea, it's a little early yet, but they still bit pretty good.
Glad you found some shade at that dreaded W word. Felt pretty good cruising at 1.8
Water sure looks good
Yea, water is getting too clear.
we did keep a few smaller ones today, for this purpose.

I can't wait! Work is really fixing to get in the way too.
I was fishing Friday Lake Lemon, 1600 acres in Indiana, water temp 54, fish haven’t come up yet then, shallow and still deep in main lake along Creek channel. Started out long lining jigs at 7:30 am and hadn’t caught anything, switched to line counter reels and PICO’s and arkies for the heck of it caught 60, kept 15 from 10 tp 14.5 inches 14 were females with most having huge egg sacks ready to pop. They slammed the cran’s in cold water that was still dingy to muddy in color, by late afternoon, water temp was 59. Will crank again maybe get out tomorrow if the wind will let me. Caught them 10 to 18, deep at 1.4 to 1.6’ mph. :ThumbsUp
It’s Power Trollin Time!!! Males coming off the bank soon.
The old rule of thump was 70+ degrees was the start of crankin time.

The top fish is from Green River Lake. The way I typed the text on my phone didn’t come out the way it was meant.
