I was out Saturday afternoon fishing at Roses bluff and a boat passed by me with lines out the back. I asked them if they were looking lining and they said no, pulling cranks. They were fishing the tourney and said they'd caught a few.
I just bought a pontoon and am getting it ready for cranks. Man, it takes a ton of $$$ to rig one completely.

Caught these pulling cranks today. 1.8 mph, 80 ft of line
chrome clown, malfunction, chartreuse

Them jokers love the warmer water, can't say I blame them there is several months out of the year they must freeze their butts off, no central heat and such. I was just glad to find a little shade today at work, we hit 85 degrees here today air temp!Quote:

Been pulling PICOs for 3 weeks here and the surface temps just climbed above 60 to stay a few days ago. At the KY Spring Fling on Green River Lake, we caught good crappie suspended 12-15 feet down in 30-50 feet of water.Quote:

The top fish is from Green River Lake. The way I typed the text on my phone didn’t come out the way it was meant.
