I would think that cross line 3 way swivels are the best for spider rigging. What size and or lb test are you using or are you using something else? Pop

Size 7 or 8 works good.
Im not sure on the size but I usually use the smallest ones i can find.....
The smallest ones are the ones I like, but they tend to tangle if you don't take care lowering your baits in the water. I stopped double rigging for a bit because of it, but I'm switching back. More hooks=more bites.

I really like these. They don’t tangle as bad

I used to use 3 way swivels until a very clever member here showed me a better trick. It involves the use of 2 barrel swivels, one egg weight a bead and a couple of fas snaps / hooks or jig heads if you don't like just don't like snaps. Pretty simple, you eliminate the need for a 3 way by using a long tag end with a basic clinch knot for your top dropper, to tired to explain at the moment, if I get time tomorrow I will post you a picture. Or maybe that clever fella will chime in and explain :cheers2
You must be talking about cray lol

Okay, by popular demand here are pictures of a double minner rig using no 3 way swivel. Sorry if the pictures aren't the best, and my bottom hook is way down there with the red tack on bottom right corner. And Tman I'm lucky enough to have figured out photos, not enough time in a day to comprehend how to do a video or post it [emoji23]Attachment 300066Attachment 300067Attachment 300068
