Anyone found beds yet? Full moon this next weekend but the water temps still seem a little cool to me. I figure they may be starting in some ponds and backwater lakes.

We're going up to the farm next weekend and I'm taking a tube of crickets. I know they needed last year several times but never found em. Gonna try n track them down.

My son and I caught a good mess of them yesterday. Shellcrackers were thick.

That's what I'm talking bout there. I'm a couple years away in my pond for that though. I need to find a good bream pond to go to this year.

Private waters on this occasion. This lake is usually a week ahead of Rex. The females were dropping eggs in the boat.

Those are nice. I haven't tried them yet but the only beds I've heard about so far is in farm ponds. I'm about ready to get my string stretched by a big ole bull bluegill!

Now you done it!!!! Done gone a flung a cravin on me. I would love to get into some Shellcrackers, Bluegill, Chinkypins, or any other assorted sun perch!!!!!

The bed those fish came from is impressive. It’s about 15’ x 100’ and giving up some big bream. One of my fishing buddies took his son there three days later and burned them up again. He threw beetle spins. My son and I went old school with cane and crickets.
