Have you been watching Richard Gene?
I don't know if many on here use fish stalker. It's more of a lesser known regional company like brushpile jigs.
I've used the Bobby g slab slayr. It is different than fish slayer. You'll notice the Bobby g has more of a rounded tail on the sides while the fish slayer is flat. It's really just going to be a matter of preference really. You should try both and see what works for you. Pico and brushpile jigs both have those style plastics so you could just try several brand to see what meets your expectations.
I'm more of a crappie slider man myself. Solid white 1.5"
Someone's been watching Richard Gene! I've used the BG with some degree of success. I would love to try that Fish Stalker though. I think the tail action is better for where I fish as I use Fle Fly Crappie Kicker to good success and it has that kind of tail action.
I like how fish stalker shortened the body so the tails longer. I'm curious how it effects hook size. You obviously have to downsize.
I do like how he promotes the smaller companies. It's cool to see them get a turn at the plate. A couple of weeks ago he held up a bag of bluegill jigs. He got my attention.
I'm curious to see who makes them and style.
I'm interested in both as well. Haven't used either. After watching Richard's video last night I love the action of the Slab Tail, it just doesn't look like it would last long. I will probably pick a few packs up and try them out.
Both of these are some what like the 2.5" Mo Magic baits that came out a while back. I did pretty good at times with the Mo Magic's so I would think both of these others would be good also.:twocents

I just ordered some slab tail 2.5,and 1.75's,also purchased some slab slayers ,gonna try them both,I really like the slab tails movement though, but I'm trying not to be biased.
Yes! lol I saw them on Richard Gene's you tube channel :)
I can definitely recommend the Pico Scent ring pointers. I used them for the first time today and I was impressed by them. I was only out a couple hours and they kept the crappie interested.
Update I love these. I picked up some of the 2.5" and haven't used them yet, but the Magic Series 60pc kit has been amazing for me and become my new go to baits. I liked it so much I picked up 3 more of them! The Pearl Magic and Glimmer blue magic have been awesome my two favorites and I also really like the Mountain Dew Magic! The action is great on the 1/32 oz jig heads just slow reeling them for the most part especially if the water is calm. If it gets windy I just let the wind take them and do the work for me. Oh I also forgot they hold up MUCH better than I initially thought they would. You can catch a limit on one of them.
I like the slab tail in the 2", I bought a magic series kit and really like the mountain dew magic.
I cannot find the Magic 60 piece at Picolures?
Sent from my iPad using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
I also take a pair of scissors and split the tail on the slab slayers and get more movement. Works good for me. Haven't tried the other.
There is seller on EBay who sells 2.5 Slap tails for the cheap. You get 30 baits for three bucks. The only issue is the color selection is severely lacking. You can do a search for Mo magic grub. They are some good baits.
dhaire I bought them from the fishstalker website Picolures may not carry that kit.
PICO has a good kit...Complete with Slabauce http://www.crappie.com/crappie/main-...e/#post3634536
