Facebook article/pic says it was weighed on a guide's hand held scale & weighed 4lb 10oz (per scale reading). It's on the Coosa River Crappie Club's Facebook page, but doesn't elaborate beyond that. I cannot imagine bringing that to the surface and realized it was not a pickle. I may not have a heart attack but it would be a very anxious time until I got it in the boat. Great fish!
