Put The Hammer Down Again!
Of all things...I OVERSLEPT today!:banghead Knowing where theyre at I was planning on getting on them at first light but needless to say that didn't happen.:( Anyways....made it on the water and was getting lines in the water by 8AM. The fish was already hitting jigs before I got more than 4 rods out. I musta trolled a hundred yards before I was able to even get 8 lines out. Talking about a busy morning....
Like yesterday...it was FAST AND FURIOUS for the most part. A little bit of time I trolled I was out of the "boundaries" I guess you can say of where the fish wanted to be so some time lost there. And...with all the "clusters" I had it also gave me time for ALOT of retying. HA!:biggrin
Today I caught over 100 keeping 28 crappies (miscounted I guess....meant to had a 30-fish limit). It was a lot of fun and felt like a little justice scratching that itch I have had for over a month now. At Noon I called it a day as the wind had picked up some but even at that the fish was still biting. 5 days of work begins again tomorrow but I'm already looking forwards to next Thursday. I just hope the weather is "fishable.:) Here's the cooler shot...
