Just ordered a sidekick with umbrella holder attachment from E-Z pole holder. I'm looking for recommendations for an umbrella to use. I think an aluminum shaft might work best. Appreciate any recommendations any of you might have. Thanks.

Thanks Ron, I’ve been using the Sportbrella for a couple years. The 3/4” shaft fits the holder just right.
Note: We will introduce a new umbrella in the next few weeks that will be the coolest I’ve ever seen. Drops the temp 10* plus over any other one I’ve used. Everything is done except the color of the fabric. I like silver, the boss likes blue. I want something different, any suggestions?
I have a sport umbrella and was concerned the side flaps that stake to the ground would be a problem. I'll try it, then see what your new umbrella looks like.
I like blue, Gene- I want one as soon as they arrive, Scott Greaves
Blue works for me too.
Silver, reflect those sun rays!

How big is the new umbrella. I use sportbrella
I think the decision for the first ones is 8’.
Wow looking forward to that....Blue
Tan. Will it repell rain?
I use a blue XL Sport Brella. Mime has a tye with a Velcro strap to hold the flats up(I think) There's no telling how many that umbrella has traveled. I carry it to the beach now. No more lugging one of those ezyup canopies. And that sucker goes with me to travel ball tournaments rain or shine[emoji3],. I just wished I could find a base to put my extra millennium seat on and use it on the ballfeild with the umbrella holder.

Here is what I have mine mounted on. You could install a 3/4 pin base on this and good to go.

I'm with "bandchaser", silver or some other color that reflects the suns' rays.
Light or metallic like a shade for your car windows would work.
Oh yeah, sign me up as well!! I was wondering if you were going to
come out with something!
Im glad I waited. I would say tan, camo, or green. I want to order a base and umbrella when you get them in.

I read in the sidekick instructions the max speed with the Sidekick installed is 5 MPH. I was considering strapping it down since I have cleats on both sides of boat inline with the center post. I don't want to disassemble that sucker every time I want to move to a new place on the lake.Anybody have any advice on doing this. Thanks
If I had to guess I would say that is while sitting in in the seat on the side kick which is Max allowed by marine law. I personally have pulled mine while installed over 70 mph

EZ Do you have any sidekicks still in stock? Shoot me a PM
Look at the material a car windshield sun shade is made of. My wife's is silver and it keeps her car cooler. Just a thought.
Send me a message too please
