Finally dropped some cash!

After about three years of making my return to fishing, after a 30 year sabbatical, I decided to upgrade my 1989 boat with a 1979, 85 hp Evinrude. I paid $1650 for this grand old tub, and it has made me very happy, and helped me kick my golf addiction. Of course, that has been replaced with an even stronger crappie addiction! I look forward to putting my touches on this new to me Lund boat, and putting someone else into a very reliable, very fishable, not so attractive, boat. You bought the boat without a motor for $1650 and added the '79 evinrude?

The floor layout looks good, similar to my boat but yours has the console/ 2 seats back farther. Whats the length?

Boat and 79 Rude were $1650! The Lund is 19’ and change.

No, this was a bit more than $1650. I was speaking about the boat this one is replacing.

Thank you all for the kind comments. I have kept my eyes open for better than a year. My wife wanted something that we could take family and friends out for non fishing activities. I can’t imagine a day on the water with NO fishing! It hasn’t happened yet, not even on a Sunday afternoon kayak trip! Her thoughts were to get a pontoon boat. I liked the idea, but was concerned with pulling and storing. I ain’t paying to leave it at a marina. Long story short, this layout was the middle ground between a bass boat and pontoon. I found it on Craigslist, and when I called, I found out the seller was an acquaintance. A friend of his had recently died, he bought the boat to help his widow, and then put it up for sale after replacing the tires and water pump. I tried the obligatory offering less, but it didn’t fly, so I paid asking price.

Looks like you have got your self a very nice Pro-v-Le there. Theres lots of pro-v's up here, there known as walleye fishing machines, they have a great fishing layout and track nice in windy weather. By the paint color scheme I would guess 95-99 year model?
