Picked up 5-6 inches of wet snow after it was all over with. Fishing is off for a while.

Hopefully it it will melt and fall off the trees and power lines as it warms up today. Wind is picking up blowing about 14 mph on weatherbug.
We only got half that around 70, at least that is all we had when I left for work at 0430. I am tired of this winter. Glad I have been busy with house so even if weather was good I wouldn’t be able to get out. Stay safe

I know my hometown of Jeffersonville, was slammed pretty good.

I was supposed to go to Blue Grass near Evansville on Tuesday. But it was not the best of weather. I'll have to see if I can make it to Eagle Creek Reservoir this next week (after the blizzard).:fish Gotta make sure the boat and motor works before I go to Patoka in a month and a half.

I am about there with ya! Chance of rain after this snow today in the forcast for all next week. They are saying now some areas will get 5 inches and that makes for high water, flooding and fishing mud. We definitely need a break. Man I hate to stick a Bimini Top with sides on the jon boat, but if this keeps up it might be my next purchase. :Rofl I can take the rain and snow. Just wished we didn’t have this constant 15-20 mph winds every day.

Watch the weather as the rain will be all the way to the gulf, starting Monday evening thru Friday. Good luck fishing. Has to be better than what we have here.

Not much on crappie but hit summit yesterday afternoon got 47 gills way back in 1.5' 45 degree water
Only about 5-6 times a year. Just when I go see my daugher, SIL and Grandson. I've never done much good but its got fish. I usually do Eagle Creek in Indy and Cataract (Cagle s Mill).

Hey cevans, is there any truth to the rumor that "every time a woman cries the White River floods"? I've heard that for years. :Rofl
thats a new one on me, I will ask a couple of guys that lives on it and see what they say. I am a transplant even tho I have deer hunted here since 72 and finally turn my cabin into a house back in 2003 to get away from the concrete jungle of big city life. Every time it floods, I have one way in and one way out. It’s hell pulling a boat when it floods as I have about 10 miles of gravel road to get to a paved road. Used to be really good fishing on the river and big crappies and gills, but the Asian Carp has had its effect even on the Smallies and Saugers. We still have some good spotted bass but it’s hit and miss.Quote:
