Yeah that's what my dad does and that's how I always caught white perch. I live right by darbonne and I put in on the downsville side by the dam. I just started spider rigging so I'm having to learn a lot. I don't think it's a really good tactic for extreme shallow water, but I could be wrong. I'll be on the lake tomorrow also, I drive a blue bass tracker. Maybe I'll see ya around.Quote:

Brad when you Spider Rigging shadow water used you a 1oz sinker and do it at greater speed like 1 or higher. Also this is where the long rods come's in handy. I use 16 footers

Wow that's crazy I would've never guessed that much weight and that fast. I have four 14' rods and four 10' rods. I broke one of my 14s I've noticed that I'm catching most all of my fish on the 14s. I'm gonna swap to all 14 soon. Thanks a bunch for the tip!Quote:
