I don't even stick my hand in the water..... And this dude is gonna swim..... Some big Gators out there!
Wow, he's got some guts. There are monster gators in there. But think about it, they don't seem to bother the manatee!

I saw that on the news. I wish him luck, but there aint no way this fat boy is going to be tempting any gators. I look too much like a sausage.
In the past the gators would run from humans. We have fed them too often. Now they run to humans. Most of them he will see. But the ones you don't see............!!
I would be more concerned about bacteria or amoeba than a gator. Thats a long swim.
That's a long way but for a good cause to support the river & study the affects we have on it. I'm glad to read that he decided not to swim across Jesup and will be using a kayak to get to Sanford. However, I have seen some monster gators further north of there especially up near Lake George.
According to his tracker, he's in the middle of Lake George now. Hope he completes his journey safely !!
Not a CHANCE!
To many lizards for this Cracker......
:fish
Used to wade the St. johns bass fishin, don't think I'd do it anymore
Me to used to wade to my neck but no more! Too many marsh mellows. LOL
When I used to fish the docks at doctors inlet, around Whiteys fish camp for blue gills, I would be so deep I would put my crickets on the brim of my hat to keep them dry!
LOL!!
I never did have any waders but my brother did and would fill them with water so he could go a little deeper. I loved to wade back then, you could catch a lot of fish that way. And I have been through nasty looking stuff just to get to that one spot. Had gators looking at me but never got close or let me get close to them. If you had a stringer of fish you had to worry about snakes. I always had the stringer tied loosely, just in case.
I'm glad he made it safe. Now he needs to take his meds.
