I've been watching the long-range weather forecast for Weiss for two weeks. Its been changing for this weekend and next week (we'll be there) almost every couple hours.
Right now its calling for thunderstorms on Monday followed by cold front conditions for three days. Hopefully for you those storms will run another direction on Monday?
Maybe leave a few for us. :cool:
That might be good as any for a starting point. Weather has been bad all week. Cold and the wind has been brutal. You seem to be familiar with the lower end of the lake. Might want to try Yellow Creek and Big Nose. If the wind doesn't let up it is going to be hard to fish anywhere. The wind is NOT my friend!

Will do! I'm loaded up and ready to go when the clock hits 6 tonight! Weather is looking good for tomorrow, Monday not so much.
Fishing was tough! Could not have asked for better weather on Sunday. Just fished were locked up and would not bite. Had 6 Keepers and one throw back. Seemed like every one else was having the same luck. 5 of the 6 came from 4ft of water on a flat with stumps. Decided not to fish Monday with weather coming in and just packed up and came home Monday morning.
Was you long lining ? I'm going next week I hope I have better luck
We got in Saturday night Sunday morning went to spring creek and spider rigged the creek channel 3 ft down in 6 ft of water and finished with 67 fish averaging 1.5 with 6 fish over 2 pounds longlining didn’t work because fish were to high up so spider rigging was the way to go fishing MJB jigs tipped with minnows Monday was tougher had 28Quote:

I'll be down on Sunday for 4 days. I'm looking forward to getting away from the cold and snow and with any luck maybe catch a few.
Of course they're calling for another possible big snow up here Saturday night. I hope we get a little sun down there, I'm sick of winter.
