Prayers and help needed
One of my friends from college, Richard Turner, lost his house and all his pets in a fire yesterday. Richard is in MO at basic training for the national guard and is not even aware of the fire yet. His wife and children have been left reeling, and are living with family right now. Not sure if this is allowed, but he was a hunting buddy of mine who has still been working on his education for the past few years. Richard is an avid deer and duck hunter, and would be there at the drop of a hat no matter what you needed. He lost his retriever in the fire, that was his pride. Family is trying to replace all furniture and clothing. Don’t want to post the link, as I don’t want to violate any rules. If you are interested in donating, shoot me a PM. Right now, prayers for strength and guidance for Meredith as she tries to get her and the kids back to the swing of things. Thankful no one was hurt, but lots of ground for them to make up. He will not be back home until the 15th after he graduates.

Man that's a horrible thing to happen to anyone, thank goodness no one was injured or worse, really sad news about the dog. Prayers Sent..

His wife Meredith is heading up tonight for his graduation and to break the news to him. On a higher note, they are in the process of getting a new home. They have gotten two new pets, the kids are really enjoying them. It’s a tough time, but getting dad back home with them will be a blessing. Thanks for all the prayers and messages to help this family. Means a lot to me and them. Thankful for such a great group of folks
