sounds good to me!!!:) still not sure if I'll make it but I'm tryin!!
Sounds good with a potluck on Friday night and a fish fry on Saturday night as long as we have fryers Marty. Mine is just a cast iron pot, don't have anything big. George has one if he wants to bring it. I'll bring mine if other fryers are involved.
I'll bring crawfish etouffee for Friday evening - if someone prepares the rice. Fried gator for Saturday evening if we're frying.
Randy, I'm confident this group will bring in enuff for a fry[emoji6]

Since I now have a cabin (#9) I plan to bring a 6 gallon fryer, oil, and Louisiana Seasoned Fish Fry.
Since Chucktx is bringing potato salad and his is way better than mine, I am changing my Friday night dish to chicken sauce piquant.
If you'll want crawfish etouffe for Friday evening, someone has to make the rice. Bruce did well last year. Gator will follow nicely the following evening.
I’m bringing one rice cooker.

I have a french fry cutter 10 lbs of potatoes, and big jug of ketchup. Does anyone have a preference to Red or White potatoes ? Salt & pepper & Tony's
Red for me as well. Keep the skin on. Thanks Skip.
Me too Red it is.
yup..red is great..........with skins
I broke my Mothers "Veg O Matic" potato slicer earlier this year and found a Weston commercial french cutter with the suction cup feet on Amazon. That piece of plastic and S/S lasted 40 plus years, goes to show how the quality of the material and made in the USA lasted so long. I still remember that commercial from when I was a kid.
I will bring at least 4 cases of soft drinks again and ice.
Every time I come up with a great idea, I get into trouble.
Some friends of Ann's Lab Rescue group who will be staying in an RV at San Miguel will bring homemade macaroni and cheese on Friday night. Not sure yet on what they're bringing Saturday evening. I mentioned homemade hush puppies, but she doesn't do that - bummer.
Another group coming in from South Carolina in an RV, San Miguel booked solid. Ann is trying to find a place to park their camper. My boat is full both Friday and Saturday. See you there!
mmmmmmmmmmmm mac n cheese!!!!!!!!!!!
My New Orleans friends were asking what they should bring for the potluck Fri and Sat. I made a list of what you guys have posted and inventoried what we have left from last year. I'm remembering how long we spent frying food at all the other gatherings...at least an hour. And that was with three or four fryers going. My one fryer won't be enough. Who else will bring one?
I went to Target this morning and bought a one gallon electric fryer to bring. I'll break it in this evening with some chicken fried steaks :peacesmile
Who's bringing fish?
