Went into the wind blast today on Wateree for a while. Temps had dropped from 65 last week to 56 today...
Thanks. Anything biting in that much cooler water?
Russell was 58-60 today (Sat). We caught most fish deeper. But did see some folks working the bank.
Micorps and I fished the hill in the sc little river side way up it. Water temp was 62 around noon. Fish had moved a little deeper from Tuesday. We caught around 30 and brought home 20 nice keepers. We fished with 1/16 oz. jigs
Butch, water temp dropped 4 degree on Oconee, fished moved out some today.
Temps dropped around 10 degrees on Murray to around 56. The big girls were still biting though.

Fished Murray Saturday--water temp was 57*--had a good day--went back this morning--water temp-56*--only caught 4--I was tightlining minnows both days--did talk to a guy that was longlining and he had 10. Wind got up around 8:30--and that was that.
I went for awhile this morning. No better than they were biting I didn't even bother taking off the 1/32nd jigs I had tied on. Water temps have fallen from 68* a week ago to 58* today. Didn't see NOTHING in the shallows. Fish I caught were in 11'-14'. I only caught a half doz and called it quits early. Big fish was 2 lb 1 oz.

Nice catch Butch thanks for sharing
Did the same yesterday. Only put 5 in the boat. Temperature shift definitely move the fish back deep and towards the mouth again
57 on Hartwell yesterday. Striper fishing and they had also moved from a shallow bite throwing small hair jigs to a deeper jigging spoon bite in the same areas they had been when it was warmer.
