We fish Barbour Creek yesterday during the rain, water was 70*, no fish were found shallow, caught 10 in 20 ft of water. We hit the river as soon as the rain let up and managed to find and catch a mess.
Did they prefer any certain color or did you fish minnows?

Nice catch!!!!
I’ve been hearing all the creeks(hardrige, Thomas mill, holiday shores, patala creek) have had crappie around banks and docks. Hit some
Shallow structure with minnows and you’ll find them.

I plan on heading to Thomas mill one day this weekend and atleast hit a few docks. Only way to find out.

Nice haul
Full moon is Friday but the wind is going to be rough. Saturday and Sunday maybe!
I am not going fishing again to next weekend and then its a whole week at Oconee.:biggrin
Know of any good places to stay over there?
White Oak creek is really nice in my opinion. It's on the alabama side. You have lake point as well which is at the north end of the lake.
