I think I still have scars from all the times I've cooked those and had them blow up and sling grease. Still love them. I don't have to worry about getting all I want, my wife runs away when I start to cook them. May have to try them in the air fryer.

Yeah I do. I've heard of folks soft cooking them and mixing with their hen eggs for breakfast. Haven't tried that yet, but I'm willing. If you are ever down on the coast and are in a good fish market, you can find several different kinds of fish roe for sale.

Some of the best oysters on the 1/2 shell I've ever had were at Boss Oyster House in Appalachicola, FL. They were served topped with flying fish roe. They had somehow infused the roe with different flavors. Awesome.
