Anyone know if High Rock is muddy?

I just left there. Main lake is muddy and still has debris here and there. Way better than last weekend though. Some of the main creeks are getting better but I had to search for the better looking areas. Fish are biting if you can find cleaner water. I used single pole today and caught 30ish with a few really good ones. All but 1 came from 2 to 5ft of water. Water temp 59/60
Thank you so much. Might go to Norman

Just the right color in most areas. Fish are shallow.

If you are closer to HighRock I'd say give it a whirl. I talked to several guys today and all said they were catching fish. I found fish early this am but decided to run up to Crane Creek and didn't do near as good up that way. Rode back down to second creek and they were still biting. I know better and usually stay in a general area and fish instead of running all over the place hunting greener grass. I fished piers with floating area in 5 to 8ft and fished them all the way to the bank. Good luck wherever you go. Enjoy the awesome weather....
It's not too bad but the gulls are at Flat Swamp by the hundreds.
Thank you...

Put a lot of miles on High rock yesterday playing around and exploring a little bit + netting a little bait. Main lake from just above 2nd all the way to abotts is pretty muddy. further above its starting to clear out. the backs of the creeks are stained, but just right in my opinion. never went below abbotts.
Did not find any fish shallow yesterday, but everything in the 12-18ft range. 80+, but everything was 8-9 inches with a few larger in the mix. I blame it on overcast skies, and wind blowing.
Water temp 57
Put in at Tamarac Ramp. Fished our normal spots, bridge, attractants. Not a bite. Had a North wind, so we went into the shallows and fished the docks, no good either. Marking fish everywhere, but no bites. Then we found them next to the banks in 3 feet of water. We caught 40-50, all kinds of fish. We kept 9 crappie over 10 inches, 4 of them 13 inches... This 60 degree water has moved the males to the shore line. Hope this helps. Tournament at Jordan today. Good Luck fellows. They are shallow!!!!!!

My Friday experience was much like Pete’s. Everyone said the fish were shallow, but most everything we caught was in 20 fow, but fish were at about 10-12 feet. Caught about 70-80, ~25 in the 9-12 inch range. Fished all over Abbott’s Creek, but caught most in 2 spots. They were biting if you could find them. Fished all day, sun up to sun down.

Fished for a couple hrs late yesterday evening and managed a good haul. Had 3 over 2lbs, one being almost 3.5lbs. I posted the story on the main crappie page. All these were caught between 2 and 6ft. They were hammering the jigs and pulling like a freight-train.
Caught them yesterday on the bank from 2-8 ft, kept about 20 fish, plus other species but no tuxedo's yet. All were caught on minnows.
