I haven't been on Neely Henry this year but years of experience on it I have and I would say docks will play and spider rigging creek chanals will be strong also. If you can find some brush on them c c. It's $$. If the weather holds out it's going to take 2 lb fish to win to. Neely isn't what it was 10ys ago but she's got some big slabs still

I’ll most likely be spider rigging. I do shoot docks but I’m not very good at it to say the least. Not looking for waypoints, but rather areas to get started that time of year. Well, I’ll take waypoints too. [emoji23][emoji23]

Check out Alabama Power website for way points on NH. Recommend Canoe Creek as an area to fish. The creek in front of Greensport Marina has some fallen trees on the edge that are likely attracting fish.

Any of you guys looking for a partner. My partner shane 1980 and I are coming. Another one of our buddies is coming as well but the guy that was supposed to come with him isn’t anymore. We got a cabin rented for the week At Noccalula falls. Trying to find somebody that wants to fish but don’t have a partner.

Canoe creek is good almost any day of the year. It is a large creek with lots of areas to fish and you can fish any method you choose. Beaver creek is also good at times but is much smaller.

i have been catching them off my pier cleaned 15 day before yesterday ,,cleaned 12 yesterday and already cleaned 10 from today all in 3 to 5 foot water with a dark color jig with1/16 oz head water temp is 59 got a mix about half males the other half females i caught lots of short ones to.. this has been only about 2 hours fishing each day

Hwy 411 north from Asheville. Right on Greensport Road. Go about 1.5 miles and left on Byrd Road, but you will see the boat ramp lot off Greensport

The ramp is open, but be very careful it is not completely finished.
There have been several people that have dropped there trailer off the end of the ramp and done a lot of damage to the trailer and hitches trying to get them back out.
There is a post that marks the spot 30 feet to the end of the ramp.
They are supposed to add to the length of the ramp this fall.
It shouldn't be as big of a problem once the water is at full (summer) pool but it is at winter pool right now.
It looks to be a nice ramp just be careful not to back in any farther than necessary.

I would for sure ck a few of the deeper water dock and at least give them a try and don't over look fishing shallow also with a floater and jig . canoe creek is a great area to long line and has a new ramp that is awesome .
