And we even found this wildlife aka Shuorc on the water.

Good day after all. We fished only till noon and the fishing was slow, but we still came away getting about a dozen good thumps. Kristy caught the most, I think she said she caught 5. Weldon caught more bass and birds than crappie I think! Oh wait, I actually caught the bird, he just released it. Good job Weldon, I woulda just cut the line. He let the bird bite him and worked hard to get the thing untangled. :cheers2

Man....here I thought *I* was bad about fishing the tops of trees still on the bank!! Glad to see I'm in some good company! Although...to date, I've never caught a bird!!

Attachment 290490There's no wonder why joe dog is part of CDC #1 Gewber is so good, We saw him stand there and cast and catch a bird with a small JIG. Was a great time fishing with you Slab. Thank You! We had a great time catching a variety pack! It was awesome. I have never seen anybody catch a bird before.I decided the only way to stop that dang thing to stop pecking me was to catch its beak. So i did and Kristy helped me untangle it.

And forgot to mention birds in the water may be easier to catch. Birds in trees have dry feathers....much quicker!

Seems like the same guber can be spotted at Cedar Ridge when the crappie and walleye are biting. I'm glad you are having fun down there.

Yep, I had just applied the "sauce" and gave it a toss when my line started flying sideways, literally. The bird ran into the line (prolly going after the sauce lol). I thought I could just pull it off the bird, but essentially I kinda made it worse by setting the hook. The hook never got stuck in the bird, it was just all wrapped up in it's wing. Heck of a fight on 4lb test line. lol :yikes I'm tellin' ya, the sauce works on everything.

It was sure a heck of a show for a little bit. That dang sauce works on everything.

Especially Brats, adds omega-3's. Good stuff for sure. Fixes boat seat squeaks too!
