I hope you can and take some of your buddies along with you. Especially good luck to you.
I doubt it, huge sand bar on this ramp.

I've never used No. 7 ramp. Lake level is 255.77 this morning. The closest ramp level I have is Hurricane Landing, 1. 260 ft, 2. 250 ft, 3. Indian Mound 240 ft.
I've heard 3 bad reports from others while cars left there.
That ramp is a good example of our government at work

was told the #3 was in tough shape .Was told they added to the Indian mound (good for spawning cats in June )and the road is worse than usual . If anyone can confirm ,please do . :popcorn
Go to their website and complain.
I sent a message to my contact about campground on the north side of the lake, don't use it.

Bring some buckets and haul off some of the crap that's in your way.
You could launch a aircraft carrier from Hwy 7 ramp right now . But don't wait long.
Last Tuesday when I drove over it you could launch. They dredged that Sand bar down at the end of the ramp last summer, but there is another behind it. I'll be going across it tomorrow on my way to Oxford I'll update if I can remember.
Stop by and fill your truck up with what they swept to the side on the way down and back again. Hey, bring it by here I can use the fill, free dump. no concrete.
I sent complaints to all the lakes. Send yours too.
The phone numbers I have got texted too.
You can launch there now. The road going out to Indian mound is under water. The Corp destroyed the gravel road going out there last fall. The wardens complained about it because first responders can't get to that boat ramp. Fell on deaf ears. You can make it there but there's a few soft spots when it's rained.
Yes #7 is concrete it's usable now. They dredged it good last year.
#7 looked good today, there was 6 trucks that had launched this morning. So good luck.
They dredged in front of the ramp. They didn't reach that sand bar. They also removed all the mud and silt off the concrete ramp. It's only usable with water flow from rain runoff and high lake level. Total waste of money. But its great for bank fishermen they love it. It's too far from main lake to fish for crappie. If the lake is at the level to fish there. Good luck. They are in thick cover.
I'm so sick of looking at that . It was a mistake of epic proportion. The politicians responsible for that ramp should be sued by the taxpayers.
Many ages ago I go with a coworker to #7 bridge. It was a gravel ramp then and we couldn't launch. We end up walking the bank under the bridge and trestle. We are catching crappie. I hear a noise on the bridge, hey Don, is that your truck? It was a long walk to a phone. A long wait for someone to show up and a longer wait for a ride home. He got his boat back 7 months later, never found his truck.
Dang that's no good, what did he do leave the keys in the ignition? And was the store just north of the bridge (Betty Davis BBQ now) not there then? I just assumed that old store was probably originally a bait shop back in the day considering the proximity to the river.
And BEER joint!!!!!!
