Put in at Pittsburg Park and discovered I had left my tackle box at home. I search through the compartments and found some weights and a pack of size 6 plain shank hooks so I made a double minnow rig. I found tbe fish between 15 and 18 fow about 1 foot off the bottom. Caught several shorts and a few white bass. Stopped when I had enough for dinner. Despite the wind it turn out to be a good day.

Wind was bad enough out there yesterday, I bet today was horrible, at least u didn't go home skunked

Congrats. I saw your truck at the ramp & was curious how you did. I motored around about 20 minutes,found 2 brushpiles. Dropped trolling motor & it went dead within a minute. Turned out to be a bad cell.Had I known where you was I would have gladly given you any tackle you needed.
Sorry to hear about the TM. I would have loved to meet a fellow CDC'er, I drive a black Crestliner feel free to stop by if you see me out there again. That area can be really hot early in the season.
