Thanks! I got in my truck at 4am headed to Weiss. Got 30 minutes other side Nashville and said to myself "I don't think I want to do this". Came home and backed in my driveway. Pulled back out and went to Barren. A buddy called and joined me. Was culling fish within 2 hours. I think it was God's way of telling me I made good choice not going to Weiss. Was a great day.

Sounds like you have a LOT on your plate! I'm the exact opposite. Im retired and have a lot of time on my hands to play with my various toys. Got a boat last year and go fishing some but not many of my friends like to fish and Im not real keen on going out alone. Im 80, get around well, still ride my motorcycle some and in good health but just do not care to fish by myself. If you would like to, I can meet you at Barren river some time and we can use my boat to save you the time of hauling your boat to the lake. Heck, I can have it in the water,waiting for you when you arrive. I have in the past mostly fished for bass but love crappie and fishing for them. Maybe we can meet at Ranger Bobs (its got a new name that I cannot remember) and have a cup of coffee sometime and arrange an outing. Bob H
Just ordered my Ulterra trolling motor! I think its gonna be fun learning how to use it. Should make launching somewhat easier.
