got on the water shortly after daylite. fished till 2. i don't often fish the welfair hole but after a big rain and they open the spillway gates the fish will stack up there just out of the current on the river ledge. i checked the spillway website before i went to bed and all the gates were wide open and im thinking its going to be on. well when i got there NO MOVING WATER, they had shut em down during the nite. did not get a single bite. talked with eight others same thing. it looked like a mudhole trash and debris everywhere. bout par for the course for me.

I think maybe it will get better after things settle a bit this next week. Opening and closing the gates messes them up. If they get a steady flow going for a few days in a row, it will kick into high gear.

Pretty good. I almost loaded the boar up and went Sunday afternoon but by then, the wind had kicked up pretty hard with that cold front pushing in

WELL THURSDAY REPORT . I CAUGHT 2 AND RETURNED THEM . THE WIND WAS TERRIBLE . WATER NOT AS MUDDY BUT STILL MUDDY . NO MINNERS HARMED .

Did good this morning until 9:30. The front came through and the bite stopped. Caught 18 with some nice ones.
