Got my new seats installed and love them. What are the keyhole slots on each side for? I was thinking to hang lures from as storage for quick access but I'm not convinced there is some other intended use for them.

I also got mine about 10 days ago, I opened mine and installed it today. I ordered the SW100 and got the Pro 100 is that the same seat>
Surely someone knows the answer to my question. How about Gene?
I just mounted (2) in my Starcraft project, and my thought was that drink holders, umbrella holder, something like that attached in the area. Just a guess though.
Gene will be able to answer.
Just for decoration is my guess. Looks better than just a flat piece of steel.
Got a pic?

I believe this is what you are talking about. Kinda wondered myself. Could be used for several things but it does look better than just flat.
Yes that's it. They are keyhole shaped and on both sides of seat. Could be tooling holes but that many shaped as they are makes me think they have an intended use.
The ones on the website picture are round holes. Mine are keyhole shaped. It's raining cats and dogs here so I'll try to get a picture tomorrow.
good place to use shop clips to hang hand towels ,ect . :twocents
The saltwater seats have the word MARINE machined into that area. Really like the comfort of these seats.

Here are a couple of pictures of the item. There is one on each side. I think the towel clipped to it is a great idea. I'm sure we'll come up with other uses for it.
Those holes are designed to have something pushed down into them to lock into place. As others have mentioned, cup holders, etc. I plan on placing a seat order soon so I'd like to know also.
I sent a message to their contact address. I'll post their answer if I get one.

QUESTION???? Can any Millennium seat owners give me the measurements of the seat front to back and corner to corner? I am wanting to buy 2 B-100 seats and use them on my Cumberland crappie adj two seat rig and I have searched the net and called a couple places but no one seems to know the dimensions of the seat, I am concerned about swivel room and racking knees together, lol
Pics of our saltwater seats w/ dimensions.

He said 28" under the picture. I think the salt water ones are large than the B100s.
I know what those hole are far...... to give us something to talk about:Rofl
I only see those seats on here. Whats the advantage over the original seats?
If you are young with no aches & pains, original seating will work. However if you like to spend long hours on the water and/or have health issues, these seats are amazingly comfortable.
Thanks. I'm 56, weak knees and weak mind too. Lord, do they make them with a foot rest? lol
Millennium is primarily a treestand maker. The seats are the same ones used in many of their treestand configurations and probably utilize those holes/slots either in their overall stand construction or for stand accessories. They've only recently jumped into the marine game to capitalize on a new market. I've used their stands for several years now and they are right comfy.
As a matter of fact... rotflAttachment 290699
You guys that haven't seen Rickie"s aluminum seat brackets need to check them out. They replace the straps that hold the seat upright. They are out of the way and so much easier to exit the seat IMO. Have them on all of my millennium seats. He is a member and sponsor on this site. podunkideas.com
I have been interested in them for awhile, seeing my original seats are 15 yrs old and worn, but after talking to a guy on the water about his, i am sold he told me he regularly fishes 8 to 12hrs a day and has no fatigue

Does the straps on each side get in the way?
Have to drill 2 holes per bracket. All bolts included with seats. Have used seats with straps and rickies brackets. No way would I go back to straps. A fine add on IMO to an already great seat.
The straps are fine for most but if you are wider than most as I am the aluminum straps from Ricky are the bomb. Nothing digs into your leg at all. The seat does not collapse all the way down as it does on the unaltered seat so the can catch it a little more. I had one blow out once but it survived with just a little road rash. Still works fine. I just loop a rope through the to transport just in case.

Don't know measurements, but I used a pair of them on my cumberland double seat mount just fine.......
