Decided at the last minute to check da Lac today.
Da Pelicans were waiting me. Their hungry too.
Conditions were perfect.
Low water, cloudy skies, strong wind, not much movement.
Gave it a good try till the rain.

Nothing like the ol' college try my friend. At least you came home with some color.
Instead of trying to catch some today, because of the conditions you listed, we headed to Middendolf's and ate some catfish.

Middendolf's hard to beat that thin fish. I havent ate at skinneys in along time I had forgot all about it.
Don't sleep on da Lac or Boeuf for that matter. Feb is the month weather pending.
Haven't had any fish strips as good as mine. (as well as my buddy Roger) Roger has this magic fish fry thats outstanding. Hope to fry a few at Larto in March. SLIP
