Hard to find large bait schools today.

Here’s what I’m doing
1 Get in a nice deep channel, near a good creek
2 using electronics, (or a snorkel mask) find large bait clouds if you can, small works too
3 get a minnow 18” below a 1oz egg sinker
4 put some rods at 40’ some at 30’
5 slowly moving around the schools , catch one go back again

Nice catch BrettW. Better than what we did on wateree. Thanks for sharing
Stick with it Brett! They going to bust lose soon and be biting pretty good. If it don't get any colder they will probably move in closer to the bank 25 to 30 foot plus be on shallow brush until spring time. :scratchhead with weather!
Good job and good plan on how to fish!
good going Brett keep that up and you will be able to take
Bigdawgg and oldfish on by your self :ThumbsUp
Nice Brett. Good looking fish, here are some at high rock today

Jig Puller nice Crappie. Is High still continue to produce the good numbers like it has for years? I might try to make one trip up there went the gang goes. I see black Crappie any White crappie in lake? This time of the year are you catching them in creeks or the northern part of lake? Sorry for so many questions.
These fish seem to be staging near creeks. There's a lot of bait down the lake from these fish. I didn't see any bait where these fish were at.

Thanks Jigs. I was guessing fish might be making moves to mouth of creeks to get ready to migrate up.
