Ketchup. Clinton added it to the food groups as a veggie.
I use to eat it on everything, loved it. Ketchup Samish was the best when I was a kid.
As an older kid we stopped at a restaurant. The young waitress was empting one glass bottle into another. We always sat one on the counter and stood the other upside down on top and left it. Nope she was slapping the necks together as if it would make it come out faster. She's in the service section at our table. I'm thinking, you're going to break that glass and it will be in the bottle. At that time I look at the table and see 4 small pieces of glass. I haven't use ketchup since. It's in plastic bottles now, but I still think about that and shake everytime I see someone using it.

cottage cheese. brussel sprouts. canned black eye peas. chitlens. Have tried them all. Would rather change a dirty diaper than smell any of those. And I throw up every time I ever changed one.
Sour kraut, cottage cheese, celery, raw broccoli are no-no's for me.
34 entries, doing good. I like some and don't like others.
Chicken liver, yes. Pork liver, yes. Beef liver, no.
Most peas. Not black beans or blackeye peas, both taste like dirt.
Raw turnips, yes. Cooked, no.
Honey or ribbon cane, no sirups.
Oh man, I've always been a picky eater. I've expanded slightly in my older age, but not much.

tuna
any stinky cheese

any canned meat

After eating my ex wife's cooking, most other things taste pretty good. My second wife is a great cook. She can even make Brussel sprouts taste good. Never had Chitlins or Possum. Don't like fishy tasting fish or rubbery or slimy texture. I could not eat traditional Vietnam Namese food with tripe, tendon, etc in it. Since heart surgery I am vegetarian with rare piece of fish. My tastes have changed and I love vegetables, now. Never thought that would happen.
I've tried both beef liver and octopus prepared in several different ways over the years and never found a version of either that I like. Not much of an oyster fan either, unless they're fried. For liver it is the taste, for oysters and octopus it is the texture.
Chicken drumsticks (not buffalo wings) and Chili Mac.
Both were served in the chow hall every single day of my Marine Corps existance. I cannot stand to see them let alone eat them. My wife made chicken legs last night. I ate venison steak instead! My mom asked me when I became a picky eater. I said, When I grew up, started buying my own food, and could make my own decisions. As a youngster, I ate what was on the table or went hungry. Now, I'm a grown man, I eat what I want!
