Good day on high rock

Took a friend from church to high rock fishing today for his first trip there. Brought home 41 nice crappie. Just got home so only have two pictures.

Good deal, maybe I should have went crappie fishing instead!

We had to weed through a lot of fish to get some decent fish to bring home. Very thankful for what we brought home

looks like you found some nice ones. I'd rather have to cull to get the nice ones than sit there all day doing nothing to get the good ones.

Glad you got into some fish. We were on Wylie and just didn't find them. Blue bird day for us. Nice weather, no wind and a good crowd to be with but just not any fish. :banghead

Looks like you done drained the lake pulling out so many ! Man it is down. Congratulations on the catch. Want to get back up there real soon.

Hey guys. Fished Jordan and Cape Fear for years. I know that water levels and moving water, made a big difference there. Does it matter that much on HR? Boy, the rain is coming for sure

Absolutely it maters. With this rain it's going to push these fish out of the shallows if the water gets muddy. Imo. It might take a day or two to settle them back down. I'm coming up there Friday I hope

CCA on the Rock Saturday. I have seen lots of teams prefishing.

They may have a good day. Looks like bit of rain early then a break bout noon.
