Personally, I've used Everstart batteries for the 3 boats I've owned ... and have them in my current boat. I've had good service from them and they've always lasted well beyond their respective warranty periods. Keeping them fully charged, charging them asap after a days use, keeping the fluid level above the lead plates using distilled water, and keeping corrosion off the posts & connections will make them last longer and give their maximum service time.

i use the Pro-Series batteries from Battery Outfitters in N Little Rock , there batteries have more cranking amps and higher reserves than most which is very important when you start running todays larger electronis , multiple graphs , live wells and such, i use 2 12 v for my cranking and main power supply wired in parallel which give you a 12v system and double the capacity, only way i could run everthing without batteries going dead before the end of a day of fishing, but that is running 3 graphs and 360 imaging, and 3 batteries wired in series for 36 v trolling motor , i had no problems with these batteries and there prices are not bad either

I usually would not recommend Walmart batteries . But their deep cycle batteries I buy have 2 year full replacement warranties . The ones I was using was a year with a year prorated , but to get second year I was told to go back to company . I fish so much I seldom get more than a year out of a set a deep cycle batteries . There are only so many charges (cycles ) in a battery .

If you don't mind paying a little extra for a really good battery, check out Optima Bluetop. I use them in my personal boat and have put them in a few work boats as well. They are great! You find find them on sale from time to time or with a rebate.

If you’re looking for the BEST battery you should take a look at the US Battery 12v Golf Cart batteries. They have 292 reserve amp hours. They are the most affordable High End batteries you can get. No other battery offers 292 reserve amp hours. I’ve tried most of the batteries in the market including the Optimax, Trojans, etc. The US Battery is the longest lasting of the bunch and sell for way less that the Optima or Trojan batteries. I sell these to most of the guides in Sippi.
There are lots of decent batteries out there, But for the upper end stuff the Golf Cart batteries can’t be beat and are in all of my personal boats. You can expect a 7-10 year life span depending on how well YOU take care of them.

If your thinking about golf cart batteries I'd suggest getting the dimensions of the batteries and being sure they'll fit in your battery compartment. Golf cart batteries are taller and they just barely will fit into my Stratos. I currently have Trojan golf cart batteries and I'm fixing to have to replace them. I'm meticulous about taking care of my batteries and don't really feel like they have lasted as long as they should have. I was thinking about the AGM 31's that are at Sam's Club. They obviously don't have the capacity of the golf cart batteries, but it would be nice not to have worry about water levels.
Best prices I have found recently are the Interstate marine batterys that Academy Sports carry. They have all group sizes. I use two group 31 deep cycle for TM and a group 27 dual purpose for starting and accessorys.
