I like a couple of biscuits for breakfast. With all the talk about air fryers I am wondering if instead of heating up the big stove oven for two biscuits how would they turn out if cooked in a fryer.

I dont see why it wouldnt work....put some butter on them to make them brown .....They make a good ham and cheese sandwich....just like you grilled it.
It works great, we buy frozen biscuits from WM or the pig and have them almost every morning. No problem.
Might have to try an air fryer. Seems to be bachelor friendly.

I'm not convinced on y'alls air fryers . We been talking about how great they cook everything .... but crappie . Nobody has enough faith in their air fryer to stick some crappie fillets in there!!! I mean gentlemen .... isn't that why we are all here ??? Because of the crappie???? So for now I'm calling bull , and sticking with my grease and my grill.
go to this post Air fryer page 4 post #32 cevans has a real good recipe on doing crappie with the temps and times on how to do them !!! hope this helps !!!!
As soon as mine gets here that's the first thing I'm cooking!!!!!
Will do any thing a confection oven will do .
ok....That does it...I got the fillets in the sink thawing right now :biggrin
Mr G is my hero !!!!
After reading this thread I went to youtube and watched some videos for about an hour. On chicken wings mostly, it's like cook em 20 minutes, pour out the water, 15 or 20 minutes, shake them or turn them, 20 more minutes, check them, adjust temp, cook some more, etc.... Seems like a lot of trouble to me. I like my deep fryer. 15 minutes and done. Really wanted it to be much simpler to justify buying one.
Dont know what your watching Delta....its just season....spray lightly with pam or olive oil....put in close door....set temp and time and forget it.....timer goes off its done. Clean up....empty grease pan, wash racks....can be done in dishwasher.
Stay tuned......crappie fillets comeing up.

I don't understand why they are called "fryers". To me I seems more like the food is baking instead of frying. The only advantage I see is you don't have to fire up the stove's oven.
It is not really a fryer.....thats just what they call it. It is a small convection oven......cooks everything great....or it has with mine. Easy to use....not as much electricty used as with big oven....easy clean up. The big thing is 70 percent less fat calories as compared to frying. The crappie fillets i did today turned out really good and could not tell the difference. See other thread. The chicken looks more like its been grilled but the taste is great and i like it better than fried. The ribeye steaks that i cooked the other day were very good too.
