28 HP
Never heard of them doesn't mean anything bad though.... I would check about parts and service availability.... don't want to buy anything you can't find parts for! I know some makes its hard to find something as simple as filters!

Yard use or farm ?
50 acres. Mainly bush hogging but have some small clearing with a loader. Nothing major at all. There's just not that much info out there on the CK27. It's a 2011 model with 248 hours 4WD
Never heard of that brand but that doesn’t mean anything either. I do think a 28 hp would be plenty for that size farm. I have a 29hp kubota that I take care of 97 acres with. Bush hogging, till the gardens, cut firewood & scrape the driveway.
Haven't heard anything real negative about them. Couple of guys I have talked to liked the ones they had. Both of those were in the 18 hp range. 27 should be good for what you are wanting to do on your place. I'm like Erin though, I'd research dealer and parts avalibality before I bought on. Might do some checking on eBay for parts pricing for that particular model. Some of those foreign parts can get pricy in a hurry.
the CK27 has a very powerful 28hp diesel 3 cylinder engine , you would be very surprised on the power of the tractor and pleased with it dependability !!!
Checked online for parts and when I type in ck27 parts, it has dozens of places to get them. Fuel filter is only $6, oil filter is $20 Hydro maint service filter kit is $120
#1 looks like good avalibality of parts
#2 reasonable pricing on parts.
Check YouTube for videos on clutch adjustment and brake adjustment and if they're are out there it should also bring up other videos on maintaince. Usually foreign tractors are pretty user friendly to work on since most work has to be done by the farmer.
Never heard of anything bad about them. It is good to know if a dealership is somewhat local. Just in case.

I went to the Kioti website and couldn't find a thing on the CK27, they want to sell new stuff. I went to tractors, it was built between 2010 and 2012, newer than my '53 Ford 800.
My son bought a '09 Farmal Waterboy 29, parts come from Aust.
Don't know anything about the make but 28 hp should do anything you need to do. I kept up 640 acre hunting land with a 28hp Kabota. After I got the ditches pulled with a larger tractor, did everything else for several years with the 28hp. I even put in 3 - 40" x 40' drains with it. It may take a while but you can get it done.
Best bet is get you a well maintained 20 year old 55-75 pro horsepower. I bought a brand new 55 go John Deere and John Deere clipper!!! Machines makes the most reasonable small tractors. Get a friend thAt knows tractors evaluate any use tractors!!50 acres is a bunch of work i tend to 40 here now I have a beautiful setting but rather live in a 1200 square foot lake house with boat lift and covered dock!!!!!
A larger tractor will stun you on how much cheaper the used one cost versus the small ones!! If tractor is not 55 go at pro you can't carry a six foot heavy duty clipped and cut your brush in 1 pass!!!
Can cost about 5-7 thousand extra in bout 57 not boarding anymore tractors without ac! Very very very unhealthy and dangerous to operate an open canopy tracto!!!!been operating tractors for 54 years 35-216 hp!!!!!!

2013 Kioti CK27 HST Review
Don't know much about them but there's dealer a couple miles from me and he keeps growing so they must not be a bad tractor
That's just one of several I'm looking at. Hard part is getting what I want at a price I can afford
Don. Look at a John Deere you pay a little more upfront but save in long run

Deere is better in the long run!! jmho!
I got about 12,500-13,500 to work with. GOT to have a loader. Need a disk and 5' bush hog
get the guy to loan it to you to try it out 5 ft. hog sounds big fer a 27 hp
I go to tractor house dot com to see what's offered and prices.
The CK27 comes with a loaded for 13,5 .
My reccomendation is do not buy one less than 45 horsepower. That way you can run a 6 ft bush hog in thick heavy stuff with ease.....and you can pull a 8 ft disc to clean out firelanes etc. I bought a brand new Kubota 46 hp tractor in 1990
...have not had any problems what so ever with it. I was going to buy a small one but... the price difference was not that bad to get the bigger one and it was well worth it. Just regular service and replaced the front tires is all i have done. Still runs like a top.

Had a kioti DK45hst with cab, 4x4 and bucket. Sold it. Parts are HIGH and nobody wants to work on it. It did ok, but hated the hydrostat. It’s a daedong (sp) engine, but I would spend my money on a kubota or mahindra if I bought another

Ordered a Kubota L2501 with a Loader, disc, box blade and a 5' bush hog. Plenty for what I need. They're delivering it to my farm next friday!!! Nice for under 20 grand
X2!

I got My 46 horse power Kubota....5 cylinder diesel turned up to 52 horse power....turned it up when I bought it new in 1990.....Dealer turned it up for me....I saw the readings on the dyno
Figure you paid what he is gonna pay, maybe less
A lot less......that was a long time ago
Only thing I can add to this thread is: whatever you do, don't park it next to your boat. That thang will get water in the fuel for sure.
Wannabe...

No matter what I got, I got a tractor. I don't have to shovel dirt, drag dead trees nor take 6 hours to cut my grass any more. Cutting 60" instead of 44" now. I ain't in no rush to do anything up there. If it takes me 30 minutes instead of 25 minutes to do something because my tractor could have 5-10 more HP, I'm fine with that.
