I’d read about this a few months ago. Can’t wait to see what they come out with. It’s reminds me of G3 boats being started by former Lowe boats engineers

Let her rip! More competition, more choice, more reason for BPS to stay true to Ranger quality.
Seems to be a lot of boat building done over there in Flippin, AR huh? We have Stratos, Triton, and Ranger built under one roof. Okay so Johnny Morris is taking over everything fishing, obvious. Ranger sold out and we are supposed to suck that up as courage or commitment and be honored for them to offer us something new? I ain't buying it...
I have a friend that has a business at Cotter, AR near Flippin. The Woods family does business with him. The word was that employees were told that the Ranger line was going to have to be built cheaper for better profit margins. The key folks disagreed with this so they moved to another location and started this company.
This may not be the facts just what I was told. This was second hand info, in my opinion it will force Ranger to keep building a quality product. Competition is usually a good thing for consumers.

This has happened with other boat companies.
Duracraft was sold, War Eagle was started. They have now purchased the Duracraft line back.
SeaArk and MonArk. SeaArk was the workboat division, MonArk was the recreation line it was sold. SeaArk began building a recreation line.
Ive already applied to be the new dealer in the Memphis area. I know all the guys involved and just got off the phone with them. Aluminum boats are scheduled for May this year with the glass production to start late 2018 or early 2019.

I would love to see an aluminum and glass line made with crappie fisherman in mind!
It appears that BPS bought Ranger Boats about 3 years ago. I'm surprised that they wouldn't have had a "no compete agreement" for longer than that. I've never seen one that was less than at least 5 years, but who knows.
Would love to see a glass boat with the crappie fisherman in mind. Also would like another bay boat option.

I agree, I mean, there has to be some sort of demand for a crappie model right?!

Bass boat front set for crappie fisherman and the rest wide open, no console, 250 horse tiller steer, be a crappie catching machine!!!!!
Tuffy X-190
They call it a Muskie boat instead of a Walleye boat. It has a huge front casting deck like a bass boat, and the storage compartments are not placed where they would interfere with a double seat rig. The hull is also a bit of a hybrid between a bass boat hull and a deep V, but its not as deep as a true deep V so you can still get into some shallower water than you would be able to with a true deep V. And the back deck is removable leaving room behind the seats for trolling from down in the boat instead of up on the decks.
Seems like it would be the best of both worlds between a Walleye boat and a Bass boat and would be perfect for spider rigging, pulling cranks, and because it is not a true deep v you could even do some single poling in it.
They have been doing it already with steer assist units. Can steer with just one hand.

And put a dadgum livewell up Front so you don’t have to use a cooler or keep running to the back of the boat every time you catch a keeper
