Went South of the sound. Turned out great. Caught 77 crappie. A good mix of sizes. Plenty of 12 and 13" fish mixed in. Glad to know I can still catch them. Had a blast. Much needed. Be the end of January before I get another chance to go. Ready now. Sorry for the late post. Good to post something again.CF

Ed its nice to hear from you. hope that this new year will see more of you down at the river. this will be my hard year as I have a lot going on. But as I know I have to keep my faith in the Lord. I have been wanting to get back down there around the police department in Hertford. I slammed a right good batch of fish in that river.
Way to go, got out and caught some fish before everything freezes!

Why yes I am. Been only 4 times this year fishing in it but caught over 150 crappie out of those 4 trips. Old blue knows how to sniff em out. Fishes good and turned out like I hoped it would. Fish one or two up front comfortably. Tournament ready or just regular fishing trips and big enough for my family. Was having to figure out the trick on loading it on the trailer but got it figured out now and can load and unload as easily as my old boat. Can't wait to get out again in it. Very comfortable seat at the helm to. Nice for working electronics and finding the fish.CFQuote:
