Are they any different than crappie nibbles?
Have not seen any in my area .
They are OK.
It seems Powerbait works better for me. I dumped two jars of the magic bait in the lake on purpose.
Tried them didn't have any luck. Will try Berkley next time.
I have better luck with the powerbaits as well.
One trick I do with my nibbles is open the jar and lay them out on the bench in my garage. Let them dry out some, depending on temps atleast over night, sometimes all the next day. Makes them stay on better. Most of the time you can catch four or five fish before they come off.
I just use the real deal nibbles. The others might work but I know for a fact the nibbles work. Not worth saving a buck in my opinion.
Nibbles for me I have used them for years no need to change if it's not better.

we use Berkley gulp brand crappie nibbles fairly often , many spots you can just drive on by if you don't have them and that is a FACT !
we have thoroughly tested different nibbles over the years and to be sure they can make a huge difference . this said unless you are wanting to ketch bream spend the extra dollar on the REAL DEAL , the magic bait version is less bright color wise and for whatever reason , probably the formula because it smells lots less shrimpy , its only good in my opinion for ketchn bluegill .....
trust me on this one ...
I personally do not like the big bite products jigs included.... Berkley Crappie Nibbles for me....I buy them by the case..... Color? I prefer the chartreuse but the die I'd be hard to clean on my boat so I only use the white ones just because they don't stain my boat.....
I have chartreuse streaks all over my boat carpet.I do my best a few times a year to get them out,but they don't come out very well.I'm a believer in the Crappie nibbles so the mess is just part of it I guess.
I was talking to an old sea salt this past trout season,I had no problem telling what flavor of power bait he was using, his fingers were covered with at least two different flavores ,and all around his mouth.Im supposing he was just wiping his hands around his nose and mouth.......or he was taste testing, either way he was a mess.
I had to quit using the sparkle nibbles. I and my truck were always glittering. Wife thought I was at a strip club instead of fishing!
Yep sparkles everywhere.....with the way the nibbles smell,I wouldn't want them around my mouth.lol
LOL..... and that's for sure the reason I don't use those sparkly nibbles.... they are a mess for sure....
You all may think I am crazy but I use the crappie nibbles also. I will take 1 nibble and roll it into 2 or 3 smaller balls and then let it dry some and put back in the jar... a lot of times I use 1/32 oz #8 hooks and a whole nibble looks huge. Plus it helps the nibbles go a lot further! Usually I’ll have 100’s of little nibbles on a foam plate drying out some lol
I tip with a few things but nibbles are number 1 for sure. I will also use wax worms, butter worms and don't laugh but yes small pieces of semi/dry hot dog.
I tried them but they didn’t work as well for me.
I caught more fish this year than ever using the Magic bait crappie nibbles. I have used them side by side with the Berkley's and I couldn't tell any difference. They are about half price of the Berkley's. Only difference is they are a tad smaller than the Berkley's.
I switched to the Majic Bait too and the chartreuse and pink combo has put more in my boat than anything. I roll them in my fingers like PlayDoh and cover the whole hook and it stays on better than the Power bait for me too. I would pay more for them if I had to.

I have started putting my jigs in a plastic bag, and then pouring some nibbles in with them to let the smell marinade. I think with the Magic Bait nibbles being smaller, you can roll them into a little rat turd easier and will fit perfectly inside a tube jig.

I'm planning on this year buying some slab sauce and doubling up with the nibbles.
