Got a chance to meet what I would guess and hope is our area's GW at lower Flint today. I am sure they get frustrated at times @ least after a while. He was a really nice guy.

Met a State Trooper on Smith Lake a couple weeks ago. Had a warm enclosed cabin on board with twin 200 Merc's. Very nice young man.

Only good encounters fer me with them. Couple of times it was uncomfortable settings because of ignorant pier owners . But that's part of the game
All of them I have ever had dealings with have been very nice. Usually nothing to worry about if you are not doing anything wrong.

I had a GW give me a warning 2y ago just so I would not get a ticket from the water parole. I had not put my new tags on yet. Only have had one GW that was a problem but he has been retired for years and I want say his name but he got moved a few times because of his behavior. Most are good people that love the outdoors and want everyone to be safe an have a good time.

Never had a problem with any while fishing.had one in my home county that was a butt several times while coon hunting.but he is long since retired as well.

Have not met one yet that was not friendly.
Met one on Cotaco right about Iron Bowl last year. He was not a nice person or had had a really bad day. You were fishing Cotaco that day also DB.

I was taking out as he put his boat in. He checked my cooler and license then moved on, maybe 30 seconds. No problems on my end.
I'm retired Army (Military Police), trust me even good law enforcement officers have a bad day. Just get stuck working a double shift or have a fight with your spouse as you leave for work, :twocents
My hats off to them, they put themselves in dangers path every day they go out. Be respectfully and I've never had a problem with any of the ones I've had the pleasure to meet.
