Was wondering how much interest there is in creating a separate forum for only lakes in north Louisiana so locals can go there to get a heads up before heading out if there's enough interest slab said he'd be willing to create one.

Are you talking about something like from Alexandria north to Arkansas and then a separate one from Alexandria south to the gulf? Just curious!
Didn't really consider a boundary line but I like what your saying that way larto would be included haven't never fished larto but heard a lot about it.
I'm from North Louisiana and I like it the way it is now. Anyone is free to post on any lake in Louisiana, north or south. I don't see how a separate forum would induce more posts about the North LA lakes.
Well if you get any further south than me, I believe you would be in the gulf! And I agree with George, I like it the way it is now. I do fish North Louisiana lakes a couple of times a year but I enjoy reading about all of the catches from there when I'm not fishing there and I don't see that it would produce more post. JMHO
I'm no longer in La. but if anyone noticed we got rid of 2 sub forums in La. this week. They had not been touched in 3 years or so. Separate forums through out the C.c sight are not used very much and die out a lot.:twocents
Leave it all together, no need to separate North LA from South LA. There is a search function if you are looking for a particular lake.

I vote for a united La. rather than a divided one. When you've been a part of CDC for years and have attended many gatherings and made friends from all over the state why would you want to form and inclusive group. That's how "clicks" get started and people are pitted one against the other. We are family oriented and we need to stay together and act like a family. I see no advantage to having the state broken into 2 parts.

Dr. Crappie, maybe I came on a little strong and sorry if I did. Could you explain your thinking about why have the two sections instead of one then maybe we could see it from your side.

Thought it wound be easier to pin point which lakes were productive at the time pic were posted didn't mean to ruffle any scales but don't know if pics are from the gulf fresh water lakes or from lake Erwin fishing is different from North to south at the same time of the year. I guess the Dr. Missed diagnosed this one tho. Maybe I should be crappie dummy instead.
As far as coming on to strong you don't bother me I asked for info and that's what I got thank you looks like so far it will be no change tho.
I fish in the middle of the north and south and i use the two together to come up with a game plan. So far i like the north method better.

If all the states divided....it would be a moderator nightmare.....No need to divide just post and name the lakes.
Just name the lake you do not have to tell location of your fishing spots.
During the past of months there are times there are not many Posts being made for the whole state. However there are some that Brave bad conditions and Fish. My home Lake have so many fishing now there is hardly any room to park at the landings, with so many catching there is not a single Post or there might be madness and mayhem at the lake. Now I hear that on Facebook there are lots of People showing their Catch, Just not on CDC
Knock it off guys.....lets make friends not enemys....life is too short for anything else. Everything has been said and this thread got a little bit off topic so i am going to close it.
